Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of the La Luz Convenience Center – Phase 2 Transfer Station Upgrades will be received by Ginger Herndon at Otero County Administrative Offices, Room #118 at 1101 New York Avenue, Alamogordo, New Mexico 88310 until 2:00 p.m. (Local Time), on  February 22, 2018, and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Project Description:  This project consists of upgrades to an existing solid waste convenience center operated by Otero County in the community of La Luz which includes the construction of the La Luz Landfill Transfer Station building, required utility work such as but not limited to mechanical and electrical components for proposed building,  retaining wall and other associated appurtenances and general site work.

 Resident Contractor and Resident Veteran Contractor Preferences shall apply to this Project per Section 13-1-21 NMSA 1978 (as amended).

 There will not be a Pre-Bid Meeting for this project. However, Bidders are allowed to submit written requests for information until 12:00 pm on February 13, 2018.
